Tony McMasterTony began his career as a professional musician in the '70s playing bass guitar with "Hello Sailor", "Alistair Riddell" and "Red Mole Theatre" before moving to New York in 1979 and forming "The Drongos". In 1986 Tony went on to work at two New York studios "New Breed" and "Water Music".
In 1988, Tony returned to New Zealand and managed and performed in his band "The Rockafellas" whilst operating his own PA and home recording studio working on a variety of projects. In 1994 Tony was engaged by Auckland City to develop the successful "Music in Parks" programme, which he is still involved with, as well as doing live sound for "Hello Sailor" and the "Jubilation Choir". He plays bass guitar for Midge Marsden and also "Rick Bryant and the Jive Bombers".
